ogo island is the largest offshore island of Newfoundland. Fogo island is famous for its beautiful fishing stages, a kind of wooden vernacular building associated with the cod fishery in Newfoundland. I took this photo of a fishing stage in Fogo island when I paid a visit last May. The spring is always late in Newfoundland, and you can still see an iceberg floating on the sea far away.
