In my fine art portrait series Skin to Skin, I intend to explore the bonds between people and places. In this series, I focus on Robert and his homes as a specific case and present my works in a conceptual way. We all have skin, and objects have their skin too. The wallpaper is the skin of the wall. In this photo, the wallpaper is from Robert's heritage family house Tilley House, which was built in 1858 by his great-great-grandfather. The wallpaper itself is a century old. When the skin of the wall touches the skin of Robert, the bond is revealed.
